My Role: I am truly humbled that God has chosen me to lead Mill Creek as it’s Lead/Senior Pastor. I have the opportunity to work with, guide and direct an amazing staff to be sure that God gets the glory for all things He has done for our church family. My main role is to preach God’s Word and love the people! God has entrusted me with shepherding the flock. I like to consider myself as the sheep dog because I believe God is the Ultimate Shepherd. Out of all of my responsibilities the one that I’m so happy to be a part of is when I have the privilege of leading somebody to our Lord and they give their life to Jesus!Family: I married my high school sweetheart, Cindy, in May of 1984. God blessed us with a son, Daniel, in 1989 and with a daughter-in-law, Kaitlin when they married in 2012! In 2020 the Lord blessed us with a granddaughter, Maisie.
Fun Facts: We raise fainting goats, rabbits and chickens. We lived in Florida for almost ten years. While there I was struck by lightning! I also went gator hunting while there and harvested a 12 foot gator! AND I have an autographed picture of the Turtleman in my office as well as the gator picture!!
Favorite Hobby: I can’t just pick one! I enjoy spending time with my family. I like to hunt, fish, and run. I also enjoy riding horses.
Favorite Sports: I enjoy watching NASCAR, motocross and American Ninja Warriors.
Favorite Beverage: Water (without lemon) or chocolate milkshakes.

Jason Mattingly
Evangelism Pastor
My Role: The Lord has blessed me to be able to serve as the Evangelism Pastor at Mill Creek. I get to serve inside the church working with and equipping church members to grow in making the gospel known all around us. I get to serve outside the church sharing the love of Christ in a variety of different ministries such as recovery, homeless, and nursing home ministries. When I came to know the Lord Jesus He quickly showed me the two greatest things in the world. The first one was when He became my Savior; and the second one is when I see Him become someone else's Savior. The Lord has given me a heart for evangelism in our church and in our community. It's truly a blessing to serve with a staff and a church that has that same heart.Family: My family is another one of the many blessings the Lord has given me. The Lord has blessed me with my wife Amanda and our two boys. Austin is our oldest and Jackson is our youngest. They all love the Lord and love serving Him. Each one plays such a vital role in all the different ministries the Lord lets us serve in.
Favorite Hobbies: One of my favorite things to do is take my family to Gulf Shores Alabama. I love the beach. I enjoy reading and I love to treasure hunt books at the half price books store.
Favorite Movie: My favorite movie of all times is Eddie and the Cruisers.
Favorite Book in the Bible: My favorite book of the Bible if I had to pick just one would be 1st John. I love that John is writing to believers to dispel the junk the world is trying to feed them. The world wants us to doubt our salvation and our Savior. John said in chapter 5 verse 13: These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that YOU MAY KNOW that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. (You don't have to be unsure, you can KNOW, I love that!)
Favorite Bible verse: Philippians 3:13-14: Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Favorite Author: I can't pick just one but I'll name a few. John Macarthur, RC Sproul, O.S. Hawkins, R.T. Kendall.

Alex Crabtree
Youth Minister
My Role: At Mill Creek, I have the privilege of leading and investing in the next generation of Christians. I work closely with middle and high school students, helping create a safe, welcoming environment where they can grow in their relationships—with each other and, most importantly, with Christ. My goal is to equip them with a strong spiritual foundation so that when they step into adulthood, they can confidently rely on what they've learned in Youth Group and continue to walk boldly as faithful followers of Jesus.Family:I’ve been married to my wife, Rachel, since May 1, 2023. We first met and began dating while attending college during the height of the pandemic in 2020. We’re excited to serve this community together and look forward to growing our own family in the near future.

Favorite Bible Verse: Luke 12:22–31. A significant part of my testimony is how Christ set me free from depression and anxiety. During that season—and even now—Luke 12:22–31 has been a powerful reminder that God is always in control and that our Heavenly Father knows what we need—and we can rest in Him.
Favorite Author/Artist: I’ve been influenced by the writings and teachings of Christian leaders, including Adrian Rogers, John Piper, John MacArthur, and David Platt. When it comes to music, I enjoy worshiping through the songs of artists like Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Elevation Worship, Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, and Brandon Lake.
